02 / Dynamic rate optimization

The right rate for each night. Never outside your limits.

Bichanakya turns each night's forecast into a rate that balances occupancy against revenue. You set the boundaries. The engine works inside them, whether it is suggesting or applying.

Move the limits. Watch what gets applied.

Suggestions that fall outside your floor or ceiling are held at the limit, every time. Drag the sliders to see how your boundaries shape a fortnight of rates.

Your rules

Boundaries you set once, respected always.

Rules are set per property and per room type. Change them whenever you like. The next suggestion follows the new rules immediately.

Floor and ceiling

The lowest and highest rate you will accept for a room type. No suggestion or automated change goes past either.

Largest single move

Cap how far a rate can change in one step, so prices move steadily rather than jumping.

Locked dates

Contracted, promotional or sensitive dates can be locked. The engine will not touch them.

Room type ladders

Keep the price relationship between room categories, so a suite never ends up cheaper than a deluxe.

Suggest or automate

Automation is opt-in. Always.

Out of the box, every rate is a suggestion waiting for your approval, with the reasons laid out beside it. When you are ready, switch on automation for the dates and room types you choose.

Suggestions

A proposed rate per night, showing forecast, pace, comparable set and the limits that apply. Approve, edit or dismiss.

Automation

Rates apply on their own within your limits as demand shifts. Switch it off for any date or room type at any time.

What the engine optimizes for. Not the highest possible rate, and not the fullest possible hotel. It looks for the rate most likely to earn the most room revenue for that night, given the demand it can see and the time left to sell.

Your next 30 nights are already on sale

Your limits. Smarter rates inside them.

Every night has different demand. Bichanakya prices each one on the evidence, inside the limits you set, and keeps a record of every change.
